The MuseumVR app is a 3D museum that simulates a variety of historical, artistic, and craft items. The 3D museum will make it possible to view art and history up close and more realistically without being constrained by physical location.
"Witness a Virtual Reality Museum with a 3D collection of ancient artifacts, from all over the globe, In One Virtual Space"
2. Description of the VR Application
This application creates a digital 3D mock museum where art, crafts, and historical artefacts such as ancient statues and vases are shown. It offers 3D visual pictures using VR technology, a subset of virtual reality known as virtual interaction.
Significance of the Application
The Museum of Arts uses high-quality 3D models such as artifacts, walls, corridors, lighting and polished floors to give the user a life-like immersive virtual experience. the application starts with a welcome screen displaying a 3D canvas with instructions on what the user can do including the elevator pitch for this Project.
Anyone who has been to a museum knows the ambient sound feeling when you surround yourself with Museum objects. this application gives the user to learn and admire ancient artifacts designed and created by famous artists, that were once lost and found from the opposite side of the globe.
While the user is admiring a piece of art, the user can click on a details or information (i) button to hear a human-voiced ambient sound of the description of the artifact.
The application also allows the user to travel from one hall to another simply by...TELEPORTING. if the user wants to teleport to a certain area, the user only needs to aim the teleport ray at a certain area and just press a button.
Significance of the Interface Technology
VR has the benefit of being able to offer a more immersive experience. Users can feel a better ambience and atmosphere regardless of whether it is text, sound, or picture. People experience it on a variety of levels. No matter how high-definition an image is, nothing can match the realism that 3D things around them add. Not to mention the disbelief of witnessing synthetic objects in their actual sizes.
3. Interaction Design
Users need a more authentic and natural experience from programmes so they can concentrate on collecting without being distracted by extraneous information. This approach eliminates the physical boundaries that just a small selection of art and historical collections may be appreciated in a museum in one location by allowing a wide diversity of collections to be presented. Additionally, the programme can show in-depth details on the displays, educating viewers further. In reality, many museums either require guided tours or feature quick, short introductions. With this application, these results are possible.

4. Technical Development
The software application uses C# as the development language, Unity as the development software, and Oculus as the interface technology. A visual programming interface, effective script editing, and practical development are all features of Unity. Java Script, C#, and Boo scripting languages are all supported by Unity in addition to the majority of 3D models, animation import, and automatic conversion of texture materials to U3D format. Unity is a good option for developing software a result. Through the controller, the user primarily engages with the objects in the museum setting.
By using the right-hand controller the user inputs are recognised using Buttons, ray casting and ray interaction. once the button is clicked, a recorded sound of the selected artifact players a 3D sound surrounding the artifact.
By using the left controller, the user can teleport within a certain distance across the museum using the teleporter package.
